Winter sports around Cavalese
Cavalese is located in the heart of Val di Fiemme and is a true paradise for winter sports lovers. The ski area Alpe Cermis starts directly above the town center and is easily accessible by modern gondola lift.
With an altitude of 860 m to 2,267 m, the area offers excellently groomed slopes for all levels — from gentle descents for beginners to sporty slopes for experienced skiers. The “Olimpia” downhill run, one of the longest in Trentino, with an altitude difference of over 1,400 m is particularly well known.
In total, the Val di Fiemme — Obereggen ski area comprises around 120 kilometers of slopes and more than 60 lifts, including modern gondolas and chair lifts.
Seasons:
The winter season usually starts at the end of November and lasts until the end of April, depending on snow conditions.
The lifts are open daily from around 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
